2-Day Beijing to DaTong See YunGang Cave, Hanging Temple Round Trip Amazing Tour

It will take around 4.5 hours from Beijing driving to DaTong.
Upon arrival, your guide will take you have some lunch at a famous noodle restaurant first, after start the wonderful tour to Yungang Cave, which known as the treasure of ancient Chinese carving art, which also listed in the UNESCO, with over 45 caves with around 51000 more buddha statues opened to public now. You will see around one-kilometer-long carving groups caves with statues in, biger size dozens of meters high, small one only a few centimeters, especially the most famous 20th cave, the Buddha statue is completely exposed to the outside with bothsides wall and the top wall all collapsed, called ” Big Open Buddha “, just amazing to see.

After back to hotel rest ( Datong hotel you will book yourself ahead )

On second day morning 8:00am, you guide will pick you up from your Datong hotel, Heading to visit Hanging Temple, around 1 hour drive from Datong city.

Hanging Temple starts from 1500 years ago, a kind of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism Temple. Amzing for it’s wooden frame structure which from 60-90 meters high above the ground. You will follow your guide goes up to the temple see each rooms with nice statures, painting etc ( Pogoda fee is included ). Continue comes to Hengshan mountain have a glance of the whole mountain.

Have a tasty lunch at a local popular restaurant.

At the end, you will tranferred back to Beijing city hotel around 19:00pm.
